During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the two key location facts of this hotel. it was conveniently located close to historical places, making it easy for us to explore the city's rich history. Secondly, there was a Chinese food bar right opposite the hotel, offering delicious meals at incredibly pleasant prices. Additionally, we loved the fact that there was a "not visible" staircase to the underground, hidden to the left of the hotel's entrance at the alleyway. This added a sense of adventure and discovery to our stay.

There were a few aspects of this hotel that left us disappointed. there was a pervasive smell of chlorine-based cleaning ingredients throughout the premises, which was quite overwhelming.

ibis in budapest exceeded our expectations during this summer holiday. they were incredibly flexible and helpful, fulfilling all of our special requests for our 1,5 years old twins. the location was perfect for visiting the zoo, varosliget, szechenyi baths, and heroes square. the staff even provided a plug-in radiator to help us with bathing the twins.

There was some confusion with the cleaning staff who knocked on the door early in the morning, despite our late arrival the previous night. , there was no option for heating in the room despite the cold weather outside.
