There's no denying that the location of this guesthouse is fantastic. It's close to all the top attractions, including the airport, making it very convenient for travelers. it's right next to the post office, which is great for sending out postcards or any other mail. The rooms here are small, but they are clean and tidy. The bathroom facilities are adequate and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any inquiries. Breakfast is also a highlight, with a nice selection of food. The only downside is that the walls are quite thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be heard at times. However, this is a minor inconvenience considering all the other positives this guesthouse has to offer.

This hotel is super convenient in the Myvatn area. It's just a 6-minute drive to the nature baths and there is a supermarket within walking distance. The staff at this hotel were really friendly and helpful. They provided us with additional tips and information about the area, and even arranged a private apartment for us upon request. The basic amenities were great. The rooms are grouped in units of six, so you share a kitchen, two bathrooms, and an outdoor seating area. This setup was convenient and made us feel at home. Breakfast at this hotel was a nice surprise. There was a big variety of food, including delicious homemade bread and locally smoked trout. It was the perfect way to start the day.

The staff is friendly and the basic amenities provided are sufficient for a one-night stay. The free breakfast offered is delicious, with a wide variety of options ranging from smoked salmon to different types of bread.

That the shared wall with the kitchen made the room a bit noisy in the evening.

stayed in myvatn again and elda guesthouse was even better this time! amazing staff, clean rooms and toilets, yummy breakfast, and great location near attractions and a supermarket. can't beat the price for iceland. exceeded my expectations!
