My stay at a beautifully renovated building in a lovely fishing village was lovely. The breakfast buffet was the best, and the advice I received on where to have dinner was great. Seeing an Icelandic sheepdog was a treat. I highly recommend this hotel.

Located in a charming area in front of the harbor, this hotel is within walking distance to all the main attractions of the town, including several restaurants and shops. Adjacent to a hospital, the building offers spacious and beautifully decorated rooms with nice views of the harbor. The staff is superbly attentive, and the breakfast has good choices and is highly recommended.

Some aspects of the hotel, such as a religious chapel and the use of an elevator that requires a button to be held continuously, may not suit everyone's preferences.

Located in a converted church, this clean and spacious accommodation offers helpful staff, satisfying heating, and hot water. Enjoy fantastic harbour views and a great location, with a local supermarket and pizza place just a minute's drive away. Although slightly expensive, the value is enhanced by the inclusive breakfast, which features a wide range of food, drinks, and fruits.

our recent stay in stykkisholmur was absolutely delightful. fransiskus stykkisholmi exceeded our expectations with its contemporary and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and perfect location right on the water. it was the ideal base for exploring the beautiful snaefellsness peninsula.

During my Xmas stay, I enjoyed the complementary breakfast and fireplace in the lobby of the hotel. the location was perfect, in the heart of a scenic fishing town with picturesque views of the harbor. the staff was kind and helpful in suggesting local attractions and restaurants to visit. the hotel provided a cozy and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a holiday getaway.

The price of the hotel was a bit high, but that is expected in Iceland. the rooms were quite plain and could have used more decoration to add to the cozy atmosphere.
