I stayed at this hostel during a summer program at the University. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even helping me with my misplaced luggage. The hostel is quiet and has well-maintained common areas and kitchens. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the showers have great water pressure. The location is convenient, with easy access to downtown and bus pick-up for excursions. a great experience.

my previous stay in reykjavik was great, but this time, student surpassed all expectations. the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the amenities were fantastic, and the recently remodeled hostel made for a peaceful and comfortable stay. i highly recommend it.

The rooms were also clean and equipped with everything I needed. And for someone who enjoys watching planes, the view from the hostel was an added bonus. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options made from local and continental products. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond by preparing sandwiches and drinks for me when I had to leave early one morning.

The hostel had a great vibe with friendly staff and a clean environment. The room had a sink which was very useful, and the kitchen on our floor was big and well equipped with multiple fridges and stoves. The common room was nicely decorated with cozy chairs and lots of books, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the late check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated being able to store our luggage in the storage room after check-out.

While the staff were excellent, the hostel had some drawbacks. The address provided was confusing, so finding the hostel took a while, especially in the rain.
