I stayed at this hostel during a summer program at the University. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, even helping me with my misplaced luggage. The hostel is quiet and has well-maintained common areas and kitchens. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and the showers have great water pressure. The location is convenient, with easy access to downtown and bus pick-up for excursions. a great experience.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hostel in the heart of the city. the rooms were clean and functional, with great city views and cozy bedding. the shared facilities, including the kitchen and bathroom, were spotless and well-equipped. the hostel's staff, who were friendly and knowledgeable, made our stay even more enjoyable. the location was perfect, within walking distance of all the attractions in the city. We especially loved the discount coupons they gave us for nearby bars and restaurants, although we didn't have the chance to use them. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again.

I gotta say, I got a lot of bang for my buck at this hostel. The room was clean, comfy, and had a nice sink. Plus, the location was prime - right by a beautiful park and a short walk to everything. The staff treated us like old pals and gave us some sweet discount coupons.

I had a mixed experience staying at Student Hostel, feeling like I was back in university. The common kitchen was great, but sometimes it felt confusing to know what was appropriate to use. The free parking next to the hostel was a bonus.

The rooms were a bit small and the lack of private toilet and shower facilities was inconvenient. The communal showers and toilets on each floor were limited.

Nice location close to downtown and the coast, with easy access to bike paths and running routes. Close to bus terminal for airport transportation.

my previous stay in reykjavik was great, but this time, student surpassed all expectations. the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the amenities were fantastic, and the recently remodeled hostel made for a peaceful and comfortable stay. i highly recommend it.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved the friendly and helpful staff at the hostel. The location was also fantastic, with easy access to the city center and a beautiful park just a few minutes' walk away. The shared bathroom was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The rooms were also clean and equipped with everything I needed. And for someone who enjoys watching planes, the view from the hostel was an added bonus. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options made from local and continental products. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond by preparing sandwiches and drinks for me when I had to leave early one morning.

The hostel had a great vibe with friendly staff and a clean environment. The room had a sink which was very useful, and the kitchen on our floor was big and well equipped with multiple fridges and stoves. The common room was nicely decorated with cozy chairs and lots of books, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the late check-in process was smooth, and we appreciated being able to store our luggage in the storage room after check-out.

While the staff were excellent, the hostel had some drawbacks. The address provided was confusing, so finding the hostel took a while, especially in the rain.
