We had an incredible stay at Hotel Island - Spa & Wellness. The room had breathtaking views over the sea and mountains. It was clean, comfortable, and even had a small fridge for our snacks and drinks. The hotel's in-house restaurant served delicious food, and we enjoyed the happy hour deals. The reception staff, especially Magnus, were friendly and helpful. The highlight of our trip was the Northern Lights hunt, which was rescheduled due to a blizzard. We were lucky enough to witness the magical colors and shapes of the lights for over an hour. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay.

As adventure travelers, we loved the fantastic view from the top floor rooms and the convenience of being able to book trips at the front desk with Magnus's helpful local knowledge. The hotel's location was convenient, being close to the main pedestrianized shopping street and Centre City. However, it was situated on a busy, noisy road, which detracted from the experience. The rooms were clean, but dated, with limited facilities, especially the bathroom, which was quite small. The breakfast was basic and uninspiring, and the service was unremarkable. The only advantage was the spa, which was small but well-maintained.

The hotel lacked character and charm, giving it a sterile, generic feel.

The hotel had excellent cleanliness, modern facilities, and easy parking. It was conveniently located near the main town center and the ocean. The breakfast selection was extensive and the staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay at this venue on our recent trip. It's located further out from all the touristy spots but near the lovely botanic gardens, in a peaceful area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was huge and delicious, and the lady assisting during breakfast was very nice. We appreciated the free parking on-site and the easy ways to transport our luggage.

The penthouse with panoramic views was amazing, with all glass windows overlooking beautiful fjords and the ocean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The hotel bar/restaurant served delicious tapas-style dishes at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff at the front desk were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. the hotel is located in a great spot, far enough from the city center for quietness but still close enough to easily get around. the rooms were clean and basic, and the free spa access including a sauna, hot pool, and pool was a lovely bonus.

The cleaning of the room could be better, as on two occasions dirty coffee cups and wine glasses were left even though clean ones were provided. the buffet breakfast could also be improved, with a lack of options for egg choices or variety offered over a few days.

Our family of five had a comfortable and clean room with plenty of space. The free spa access was a wonderful bonus. The staff at reception, restaurant, and spa were all friendly and helpful. We appreciated the free parking outside and the ability to get a coffee in the lobby. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the spa was a relaxing experience. The location, just outside the city center, made it easy for tour pickups and there were interesting places nearby to explore.
