We had an amazing time here. This place is conveniently located about 1 hour away from the city center, but you feel like you're in the middle of nature. Service here is superb--everything from room service to dry cleaning to housekeeping was top-notch. We were welcomed with a drink upon arrival, and the staff was always happy to help with tours and tickets. Our room was fantastic, complete with tea/coffee facilities and a mini-bar. The manager was very present and very pleasant--he was on hand at dinner to chat with all the guests and help with service. The leisure facilities here, including the jacuzzi and massage, are a must-try.

The hotel is in a great location, close to many major attractions on the south coast and not too far from the airport relatively speaking. Guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the adjacent Ranga river from their terrace doors. The rooms are spacious, with the added bonus of a huge whirlpool in the bathroom. The restaurant and bar serve spectacular food and drinks. Guests can even borrow a tripod from reception to capture amazing photos of the Northern Lights.

Limited restaurant menu options for those looking for more variety in dining choices.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, from the moment I arrived until the time I left. The location, close to the beach where I could witness the powerful sneaker waves crashing against the black volcanic cliffs, was truly breathtaking. Additionally, the breakfast provided a wide variety of options, and the staff was attentive and friendly throughout my entire stay.

Great location with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and farmland. Easy access to attractions such as the Lava Center and waterfalls. the restaurant served excellent food and the staff were wonderful. the stargazing tent with telescopes and astronomers was a highlight. Don't forget to register for the Northern Lights wake-up call and try the delicious hot chocolate in the lobby.

The hotel's interior could use some updating and modernization. the rooms were comfortable and charming, but could benefit from a refresh.

The staff at Ranga were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room had stunning 180-degree views and a unique decor. The outdoor hot tubs and other amenities like exchange libraries and board games were a great addition. The cuisine, both dinner and breakfast, was fantastic.
