Double rooms with private bathroom are quiet and separate from dormitory rooms. Guest kitchen is well-equipped with large fridges. Staff at front desk provide helpful bus routes and sightseeing information in English. Temperature and bed in the room are comfortable. Kitchen is well-stocked and organized. There is plenty of natural light and the common areas are quiet at night.

Our stay at Dalur - Hi was fantastic! The building may have had an industrial exterior, but inside it was cozy and welcoming. The staff were excellent and provided exceptional service throughout our stay. The hostel had a homely atmosphere and the facilities were top-notch. Despite being a hostel, our room was clean, private, and well-equipped. I had a fantastic stay at the hostel! The bed was super comfortable and the staff went out of their way to reserve a lower bunk bed for me. The communal rooms were lovely, and I really appreciated the great recycling policy. The location was perfect, right next to the swimming pool and convenient for the tours. The staff, especially a young gentleman, were incredibly nice and helpful. great value for money and a perfect place to meet fellow travelers.

the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen and laundry facilities were convenient. the location was great, right next to a public thermal pool and with easy access to downtown Reykjavik. the design of the hostel was well thought out, with two wings and two kitchens. the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and we met some lovely people during our stay. we had a wonderful experience.

At this hostel, there is plenty of space to breathe and relax. The rooms, especially the dorms, are cosy and comfortable. The green sheets create a welcoming atmosphere. The hostel also offers two kitchens, providing ample space for guests. The surrounding area is lush and green.

The location was convenient, with a beautiful geothermal pool just a short walk away, and the bus access to the city centre was cheap and easy. The staff were extremely helpful and had the best advice on tours. The manager even greeted us and encouraged us to stay in a family room to get out of the cold. The location was convenient, within walking distance of a large outdoor geothermal pool and with cheap and convenient bus access to the city centre.

The hostel seemed to mainly accommodate school children groups, which made it difficult for solo travelers to socialize. The kitchen facilities were poor with limited utensils and no cleaning products provided.
