The hotel had a great location, just a few minutes away from the main shopping street and some amazing restaurants. the room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot and cold options.

The plumbing in the bathroom was quite noisy, with a distinct noise heard in the room when running water. the cups provided for tea and coffee in the room were tiny, and the water from the heaters wasn't hot enough to make a decent hot drink.

I had an amazing value for my money at Skuggi Hotel. The room was spacious and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The hotel's location was perfect, just a minute away from the bus stop for airport transfers and tours. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The staff were accommodating, constantly replenishing the food and providing helpful information. Despite a few drawbacks like the noise from the street and the hotel bar being a bit pricey, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Reykjavik.

I recently stayed at Skuggi Hotel for two nights during my trip to Iceland. The hotel is in a wonderful location, just a short walk from the city center and conveniently close to bus stops for excursions. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, quickly replacing a broken hairdryer in our room. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, with a modern design and a great selection of photography books. The daily cleaning service and cozy bed made for a relaxing stay. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, both hot and cold, and the free parking was a fantastic bonus.

Great value for money! This hotel had basic amenities, but with attention to detail. The location is perfect: close to good places to eat and a small supermarket at bus stop 9, with the key sights within walking distance, and also close to the public bus station. The staff was very friendly and the rooms had piping hot water, as well as a book provided to read and even a wraparound shared balcony with a view of the sea. The breakfast was a definite highlight with so many choices, whether you prefer cooked or continental breakfast, and the best part was that it was included in the price.
