My recent stay at Svala Apartments By Heimaleiga was absolutely fantastic. The apartment was clean, modern, and beautifully furnished. The location was perfect, with plenty of shops and grocery stores nearby. I particularly loved having a kitchen and appliances to cook my own meals. The bathroom was amazing, with a fantastic shower and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated having a nice table with chairs. The apartment also provided adapters, a vacuum, and a fan, which were unexpected but greatly appreciated. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

The location of this apartment was absolutely perfect. It was in the heart of the city center, close to everything I needed and within walking distance to the main shopping street in Reykjavik. Additionally, the apartment was clean, modern, and fresh, providing a lovely place for my holiday. Having a parking space included was a major plus, especially considering that everywhere else in the area required paid parking. Furthermore, the detailed instruction manual left by the host was incredibly useful, with great recommendations for things to do, see, and eat in this city.

Perfect location, right on the main street. The apartment was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We loved the modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom. The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to cook our own meals. Check-in was easy and the door locks felt secure. we were extremely happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.

A few minor issues were the sulfur smell in the water, which bothered one person in our group. Also, having only one mirror in the bathroom made it difficult for everyone to get ready at the same time.

The location couldn't have been better, with convenient parking at the back of the apartment. the cleanliness of the apartment was outstanding, and it provided a warm and cozy atmosphere. the shower was amazing, and the owner even left us some Icelandic beer and chocolate to enjoy. the bedding and towels were spotless, and the overall experience was highly satisfying. We will definitely be coming back to Svala Apartments in the future.

The value for money at this place was fantastic, we got so much more than we expected. The room was clean, cozy, and filled with natural light. The location was perfect, we could easily walk to all the attractions in the area. The staff treated us really well and were always helpful.

Incredible central location with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and shops. The apartment was mind-blowingly clean and tidy. The hosts went above and beyond by reaching out before our trip to ensure our needs were met, even preparing a special surprise for our honeymoon. The price was super reasonable. Highly Recommended! Wi-fi, off-site car park, electric kettle, cookware/ kitchen utensils, flat-screen tv.

the location couldn't have been better, with rows of shops and supermarkets within easy reach. the apartment was also conveniently located near bus stop 9 & 10, which made it a perfect pick-up point for tours and airport transfers. it was close to the bus stops for public transportation. the apartment was clean, easy to check in to, and had all the necessary amenities. the host provided a helpful manual with instructions and recommendations for exploring the city. I would definitely book at Svala Apartments By Heimaleiga again if I return to Iceland.

The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were dreamy. We loved the little extras like tea and coffee in the cupboard, as well as access to Netflix for cozy nights in. Despite being located in a vibrant area with coffee shops, shops, and restaurants, the apartment was wonderfully quiet. the guide booklet provided was a great resource, especially for discovering the amazing bakery just minutes away. the location was central, making it convenient to walk to various attractions, restaurants, and shops. We also appreciated the well-presented instructions for arrival, stay, and departure. the personal touch and attention to detail truly made our stay memorable. the clean and comfortable room, along with the convenient amenities, made it a perfect choice for our trip.

just back from another amazing stay in reykjavik. svala apartments were even better than last time, with a perfect location on the main street and tons of restaurants and bars around. clean, comfy, and easy check-in. highly recommended!

Convenient location near shops and restaurants. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious bathroom. Cozy and warm room with nice views. Helpful and responsive owners. Great for exploring the city on foot.

We had a fantastic stay at Svala Apartments. the apartment's location was ideal, close to all the points of interest in the city. It was spacious and perfect for our group of three. the reserved parking saved us a lot of time searching for a spot. the staff was incredibly responsive and helpful, especially Andrea who we communicated with through messenger. the apartment itself had all the amenities we needed, from a toaster to a dishwasher. the beds were comfortable and there were even extra towels available. the check-in process was smooth and convenient with the code at the doors.

Our stay at these apartments in Reykjavik was fantastic! We stayed for a week and found the location to be excellent, at the quiet end of the main street. The apartment itself was stunning, beautifully furnished and comfortable. Communication with the owner was quick and easy, and the key code entry made check-in and check-out a breeze. The kitchen facilities were great, allowing us to cook our own meals and save on food costs. we had a wonderful experience and would definitely book again.

The location of the apartment was unbeatable! It was right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and landmarks. We didn't have to go far for anything. Another great feature was the separate living spaces in the studio apartment. It gave us a sense of privacy and made the apartment feel much larger than it actually was. Lastly, we really appreciated the prompt and helpful responses from the staff whenever we had any questions or concerns.

One major issue we had was with the ventilation in the room. It was quite poor, and despite the cool temperatures outside, the room would quickly heat up and become uncomfortable.

the apartment was clean, comfortable, and warm with a fully equipped kitchen. the bedroom had a north-facing view, perfect for watching the beautiful Northern Lights. the apartment also had a nice balcony overlooking the quiet main street. It felt like a home away from home. Great value for money!
