I stayed at The Retreat for a couple of days to celebrate my belated honeymoon. The staff was excellent, the rooms were luxurious with amazing views of the lava fields, and the private spa lagoon was a relaxing oasis. The breakfast and dinner at Lava restaurant were delicious, and Thor was particularly helpful. a very hip and relaxing hotel experience.

They provide all the amenities you could possibly need, including a complimentary in-room bar. The spa is incredible, offering treatments like in-water massages and a relaxing lagoon. The breakfast has a wide selection of juices and food options, and they even offer high tea in the afternoon. The staff, especially Emil, are friendly and attentive, making your stay even more enjoyable.

The rooms with private lagoon access are a bit misleading. While you have access to the lagoon, the water is cold, which can be disappointing.

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the intimate private spa lagoon for a relaxing experience away from the crowds. The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and well-decorated. The breakfast in the main lobby was nice and we also enjoyed the additional Afternoon tea experience.

As a satisfied guest, I recently stayed at The Retreat At Blue Lagoon Iceland for a couple of days to experience the hotel's offerings. In particular, the Moss Suite provided a private and intimate experience with stunning views day and night. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond in resolving a small issue that was not within their control. Their kindness made my stay even more unforgettable. Additionally, the hotel's architecture, service, and environment were all top-notch. I couldn't fault anything and even had the privilege of witnessing the Northern Lights. I would have loved to stay longer than two nights and highly recommend this hotel for a 5-star experience.

The view from the rooms was absolutely stunning, especially with the floor to ceiling windows. the location of the hotel was also excellent, offering easy access to the beautiful landscape of Iceland. Additionally, the amenities provided, such as the free mini bar and the assortment of books about Iceland, were a nice touch.

The check-in process was quite long and delayed, which was frustrating considering the high price we were paying. the living room furniture in the suite was not comfortable for older guests, and the overall size of the living room felt cramped.

Our stay at the Retreat was worth every penny. The room was luxurious and had a cozy feel with stunning views. The location was perfect for relaxation and adventure. The staff treated us like royalty, making our 30th anniversary celebration unforgettable.
