I couldn't be happier with the value I got for my money at the Oberoi Grand. The room was fantastic, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, right across from the main bus station and within walking distance of other attractions. The staff treated me like royalty, always going the extra mile to make my stay memorable.

During our stay at Oberoi, we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. One particular incident stood out when I mentioned my love for the perfume in the oil burner. The trainee at the front office, Gurpreet, made it a point to gift me a bottle of the perfume, even going out of her way to find me. It was such a sweet gesture that made our stay even more memorable. The hotel staff, including Niharika from housekeeping and floor supervisor Neelesh, were extremely courteous and helpful. The level of professionalism and friendliness exhibited by the entire staff is unmatched compared to other hotels we have stayed at around the world. The Oberoi Grand should be proud of their exceptional team.

Although our experience at Oberoi was largely positive, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The bathroom had a small size, and the placement of the toilet in the middle was a bit inconvenient.

The housekeeping was excellent and the staff, including Rahul, Arjun, and Sara, made me feel incredibly welcome. The location is perfect, right at the center of Kolkata, yet the hotel grounds offer a peaceful escape. The food, especially the special buffet during the Durga Puja festival, was superb. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, even arranging last-minute requests. The attention to detail, like organizing my cables and chargers, was superb. Looking forward to my next visit!

I arrived at The Oberoi Grand on Monday evening after a delayed flight. Despite the inconvenience, the check-in process was smooth and the staff were incredibly helpful. They even went above and beyond to assist me when I experienced swelling after dental surgery. From the bellboy to the manager, everyone took care of me, providing me with medication, ice packs, and sweet desserts. Their kindness and attentiveness were truly exceptional. The hotel itself, with its heritage charm, still offers modern amenities and is both clean and comfortable. The food at the hotel is excellent, although slightly pricier by Indian standards. I highly recommend this hotel for its fantastic staff and facilities.

While my overall experience was amazing, the only downside was the check-in process. Despite arriving just 45 minutes after the designated check-in time, we were made to wait for 40 minutes as the rooms were being sanitized.
