I had an amazing time at Santa Maria! The staff really made my friend's birthday special with a surprise cake at midnight. The location was perfect and I loved the friendly party atmosphere. Plus, the onsite cafe and the great band that played were fantastic additions to our stay. I highly recommend this hostel.

I had an unforgettable stay at Santa Maria Hostel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The hostel's rooftop space was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the evenings. The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredible people we met, who felt like old friends. The hostel had a warm and friendly community that made our time there truly special.

While I didn't personally have any issues, I noticed that the lockers in the hostel don't close at the top, so it's important to be cautious when storing your belongings. Additionally, smoking is allowed inside the hostel, so if you're sensitive to cigarette smoke, it's something to be aware of.

The value for money at Santa Maria Hostel was great, and the room was comfortable and cozy. The location was perfect, with easy access to the ferry and other attractions in the area. The staff, especially Diljith, were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home during my stay. Plus, who can resist the company of their adorable resident dog.

Breakfast delights could be improved with a nicer cooked breakfast for the additional cost. The dosa served was not up to par, a bit rubbery, and the black tea wasn't the best.
