The location is incredible - just a 3-minute walk from the Gateway of India and close to the Colaba Causeway markets. Staff are attentive and ready to assist. The interior is surprisingly nice, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and reliable wifi.

This hotel is located right in the center of colonial Mumbai, near all the sites that a traveler would generally like to see. It is nestled in a posh area with well-known landmarks nearby, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff here is friendly and always ready to assist. The rooms are equipped with all basic amenities and feature very comfortable beds. Additionally, the breakfast included with the stay offers a full spread with many items changing daily. The constant hot water supply is an added bonus.

The hotel was very well designed, clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the location was perfect, close to key tourist sites and within walking distance of a beautiful park. the breakfast buffet was amazing with a variety of fresh items ranging from fruits to Indian cuisine.

The noise level from the nearby corridor was high, and conversations could be heard in the rooms. It would have been nice to have a beer after spending a long hot day exploring the city.

Plus, the staff responds quickly to requests, like providing a sewing kit or a UK adapter for charging devices.

Some guests had trouble with the WiFi, which needed daily fixing and required them to go to reception at inconvenient times.

Excellent location, within walking distance of popular attractions such as the Gateway of India and Taj Mahal Palace. Friendly and helpful staff, who went out of their way to accommodate early check-in and provided great service throughout the stay. Delicious breakfast with a variety of options, including masala tea, which was a personal favorite.

Some rooms had stains in the bathrooms, which could be improved with better cleaning. The mattresses felt a little hard, although still sleepable.

my second stay in mumbai was even better than the first. suba palace exceeded my expectations with their friendly staff, upgraded room, and excellent location near the gateway of india. it truly felt like a home away from home.
