Calm, serene location with fantastic menu and excellent service. Despite needing a fresh coat of paint outside, this vintage gem shines through with EXCEPTIONAL service, rooms, and an inviting swimming pool. Perfect location for exploring on foot, near the bustling beach promenade. Non-flashy but shining brightly for the price!

I always return for my holiday to this perfect place with everything I need. the staff helped me print tickets once. Wi-Fi, valet parking, massage, games, kids' area, fitness center. No pets, no smoking – never a regret here! .

The Taj hotel database was incredibly user-friendly and efficient, making it easy to find and book rooms. the customer service was top-notch, with staff members always ready to assist and provide excellent recommendations.

The decor in my room could have been better, as some of the furniture looked old and there was a slight damp smell coming from the curtains.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. the food, especially the in-room dining options, is absolutely delicious. the rooms could use some updating to enhance the overall experience.

During my recent stay at The Gateway Hotel Beach Road, I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the staff. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the friendly and helpful reception staff to the attentive housekeeping team, everyone made me feel valued as a guest. The restaurant staff were always prompt and cheerful, and the food was delicious. The highlight of my stay was the stress-busting massage at the Ayurvedic Centre. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for its wonderful staff and excellent service.

Recently stayed at the Gateway Hotel in Calicut for a short leisure trip. Serene location, excellent service, and delicious food menu. Mr SRIJIT at the Ayurveda Center gave the best massage. Polite and professional staff, quick check-in, and clean rooms. Close to the beach and centrally located.

I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrade to a smart suite, making our stay even more enjoyable. The buffet at the restaurant had a great selection of dishes. The pool was fantastic and the staff provided excellent service. The room had everything we needed and the friendly room staff were helpful.

The comfort level in the rooms was exceptional. After a long day exploring, sinking into that bed was like floating on a cloud. the air conditioning was a welcome relief, much like walking into an igloo on a scorching day.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main area and within walking distance to the beach. In addition, the business center provides better internet access for guests. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The staff is courteous and accommodating, going above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The breakfast offers a variety of delicious options. Guests can also enjoy the Ayurvedic center for a rejuvenating experience.

This hotel was a luxurious haven that fulfilled all our exclusive amenities needs. the spa centre was exceptional with a full body massage, steam room and a relaxing sun terrace. the outdoor swimming pool offered a shallow end and a beachfront for total relaxation. the restaurant provided in-room breakfast, packed lunches, and special diet menus. the bar and lounge area was also a great spot for sundowners.

We had a minor issue with only a few staff members that seemed reserved and distant. this was not a major concern as the majority of the staff delivered exceptional service.

The gym equipment needs maintenance. the air conditioning controls in the rooms were not very effective.
