I recently stayed at Ankawa Royal Hotel in Erbil for one night during my business trip. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to assist me. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of delicious food, and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The hotel's location in the Christian part of Ankawa allowed for a more diverse and family-friendly atmosphere, with plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping options. it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning.

The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and well-equipped with anything you need. The staff is friendly and helpful, making your stay more pleasant. The breakfast offers a wide range of food choices. The hotel has a pool, as well as a Shisha bar.

The hotel lacks modern design and structure in comparison to other 5-star hotels.

We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The spacious and clean rooms were comfortable, and the hotel grounds featured a lovely garden. The location in Ankawa was perfect for us, as it was within walking distance of our favorite bars and restaurants. The staff, especially Heidel at the front desk, were super friendly, attentive, and spoke good English.

The hotel was conveniently located in an area surrounded by good food places and transportation was cheap. the buffet was very tasty and the price was reasonable. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks that were offered upon check-in.

We couldn't sleep, and it was a terrible experience for our kids. the room was also quite small, and the bed wasn't very comfortable.

I stayed at a hotel in downtown for only 3 dollars, which was a steal. Despite frequent electricity failure, the staff was helpful, especially Onel who allowed us to check-in early. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the service provided by the friendly staff was exceptional. The breakfast had a good variety of options and set us up for the day. The indoor swimming pool was a bit chilly, but the spa facilities with the jacuzzi and sauna made up for it.

The parrots in the indoor swimming pool area were a bit strange.

Our spacious room had exclusive advantages, making it a perfect place to unwind after a long day. the private facilities and location advantages were also exceptional.

Cons the only minor issue we encountered was with the live entertainment. the music and noise level were too high for our liking.
