The hotel's early check-in was a wonderful surprise. The friendly staff, especially at the coffee shop, enhanced our experience, and the room was clean and comfortable, despite some noise from renovations during our last night.

The friendly staff surprised us with wine glasses for our bottles. Breakfast was good, though the seating made it a bit cramped at times. Overall, the hotel offered a pleasant stay despite some minor drawbacks.

Great location with friendly vibes!

The staff were super friendly and let us check in early, which was sweet! The location is awesome for walking to attractions. The only bummer was the room was a bit cramped, and the air conditioning didn’t seem to do much. Breakfast in the restaurant was well worth it, tasty without breaking the bank!

However, the room felt like a closet, and the air con didn't exactly blow me away—literally! If I wanted to feel like a sardine, I would’ve stayed in a tin can!

For a quiet breakfast experience, sit upstairs away from the main buffet area. The view is nice, and it's less crowded.

The location was fantastic, perfect for walking to attractions like Dublin Zoo. We had a great time exploring with our kids and our non-service dog. The breakfast options were varied, making mornings easier for our large family.

My kids wished for a more spacious room.

Great location—easy stroll to local attractions! Staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, especially the bacon and sausages. Clean and nicely decorated rooms.

The bathroom had some accessibility features but could be hard to navigate if not using them. Some cleaning issues. and the breakfast choices felt a bit repetitive.

However, the room felt a bit cramped, and the air conditioning struggled to keep things cool at night, which made sleeping somewhat uncomfortable. Even with minor drawbacks, it’s a solid option for a Dublin getaway.

superb location just steps from O'Connell Street, perfect for exploring the heart of Dublin! breakfast was a delightful surprise, fresh and filling, helped us kick off the day right! staff were genuinely nice and attentive, went out of their way to assist!

the hotel offers great variety at breakfast with plenty of options. the shower pressure was weak.

the academy plaza has a great location, just a short walk to temple bar and grafton street. i loved the free gym access, and the friendly staff were so accommodating, giving us spaces to work remotely in the hotel hall or café. breakfast was a solid buffet choice, definitely worth the price.

absolutely not what i expected. the room was so small i had to rummage through my bags on the floor. plus, the breakfast was over priced and el-cheapo. after all that, why did no one offer me a complimentary drink or an upgrade for the trouble? i almost thought about a good review but just couldn’t. shame on Academy Plaza.
