The room was huge with a springy bed, delicious dinner and breakfast. Friendly staff, though my room charge request was overlooked. Breakfast service was exceptional but could improve by allowing self-service. Hotel needs modernization. Exceptional bed comfort and food, with attentive staff. Shower hot water delay issue. Outstanding balcony room, wonderful dining, and helpful staff. Warm welcome dried us off and delicious seafood supper. Definitely would return for the atmosphere.

The rooms were fantastic, mega roomy and comfy as heck. the food was boss, especially the seafood dishes 🦞. the staff were friendly and the hotel's location was spot on. Only thing, hot water in the shower had a minor slow start, but once it kicked in, it was boiling hot. All in all, had a brill time and can't wait to go back for more seafood goodness! .

During my weekend break in Youghal, I had the pleasure of staying at Aherne's Townhouse Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly lady at the lounge. Our room, Room 2, provided us with a spacious and comfortable space to relax in, and the spotless bathroom was an added bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel in a small historic Irish town. The location was perfect, with glimpses of the sea from our first-floor windows. The room was huge, with a lovely bed and a great shower. The service was top-notch, and the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was definitely the seafood restaurant downstairs. The fish dishes were absolutely delicious, and we could tell that the restaurant takes pride in their fresh and locally sourced ingredients. We also enjoyed the cozy residents' lounge with a real fire, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the town.

Due to unexpected circumstances, the restaurant was closed during our stay, and we had to have our meals in the bar area. While the food was excellent, we did miss the full dining experience that we were expecting.

The food at Aherne'S Townhouse Hotel And Seafood Restaurant is amazing, especially for seafood lovers. the breakfast menu is superb, and the rooms are large and very comfortable. the staff is lovely and friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere with a lit fire. Perfect for a relaxing night away. Will surely return.

Great location near the beach and the town center. the breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh options to choose from. the beds were comfortable and we slept well.

The Wi-Fi in the room was not very strong and it was difficult to use at times. the shower was a bit small and not very powerful.

We stayed at this place with our two sons and our dog. The family room was perfect for us, with an en suite bathroom and two double beds. The breakfast served here was outstanding, and we even ended up having our evening meal here twice because the food was so good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location in the centre of town was very convenient.

The warm welcome and hospitality from the lady of the house made us feel right at home. The beautiful meal we had on Valentine's night was exceptional and the fresh breakfast each morning was delightful. The owners were very helpful in providing us with information about places to visit during our stay. The room we stayed in was comfortable and well-maintained, with lovely decor and quality furniture. The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel offered a nice menu with good choices. Despite the dated feel of the town, the hotel provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the seafood chowder and the full Irish breakfast. the portion sizes were generous and the flavors were outstanding. the hotel itself was comfortable and the rooms were well-decorated with beautiful art on the walls.

The prices at the restaurant were quite high. We felt that we did not get our money's worth, especially considering the limited options and lack of side dishes included with the main course.
