Only minor issues with the lack of curtains and limited TV channels. I would highly recommend Gateway Lodge for a pleasant stay.

Great location with beautiful scenery and close proximity to the town. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. And the shower was really good.

The walls were incredibly thin, which meant we could hear everything happening in the rooms next to us. There was no privacy as people could easily look into our room as they walked past.

Our city break included a short stay in a hotel with two complementary items offered and a key location. Breakfast was delicious and we received a friendly welcome at check-in. The nearby town centre was only a short walk away and we enjoyed exploring the quaint and charming streets.

The room wasn't up to standard. It felt outdated and lacked the modern amenities we were expecting.
