I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The location of this place is perfect, with its proximity to a stunning lake and beautiful walking paths down to the water. It's the ideal spot for a quick getaway, especially if you're looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat. The staff here were courteous and professional, particularly the 2 porters who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything from heating and air conditioning to a cozy sitting area and a terrace to enjoy the view. The spa and wellness center offered a wide range of treatments, and the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The free Wi-Fi and off-site car park were additional conveniences that I appreciated.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The castle is a really interesting building, full of history! It is lovely to see it brought back to such a fantastic place to visit & better still stay. The friendly staff are excellent and everywhere is spotless! The room was lovely & bed was most comfortable I've slept in. The drawing room & lobby area are lovely and add a really relaxing vibe to the castle / hotel. The spa facilities were great - the low-lit pool area is extremely relaxing. The staff are very well trained, it was a joy to be in a restaurant with waiting staff who did the simple things right. The rooms are spotless and the beds are the most comfortable we've ever slept on. Everything about this hotel speaks of attention to detail and extremely high levels of service and quality.

I recently stayed at Kilronan Castle for our wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful experience. The staff, especially Sinead in the spa and the friendly check-in lady, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Castle Suite with beautiful lake views. The food and service were excellent, from the delicious breakfast with unlimited options for the kids, to the tasty lunch and dinner. The swimming pool was a nice bonus and all areas of the hotel were kept very clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable.

I recently stayed at Kilronan Castle for a weekend getaway. The grounds and interior were absolutely beautiful, creating a truly picturesque atmosphere. The breakfast staff, especially Mary, were incredibly accommodating and professional. Additionally, Michael, the bell cap, provided excellent service. The high tea was enjoyable, although the couches made it a bit challenging to eat comfortably. the staff was friendly and professional, the breakfast outstanding, and the rooms spacious and comfortable. The addition of the thermal suite was a worthwhile treat, providing an amazing spa experience.

During our romantic escape, there were a few things that we really liked about our stay. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, probably the best we had on our entire trip. the selection was varied and the food was perfectly cooked. Secondly, the staff were friendly and accommodating. They offered us a desk fan to sleep with, which was a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more comfortable. Lastly, the location was perfect. We enjoyed stunning views and had access to beautiful walking routes along the nearby lake.

There were a few aspects of our experience that we did not enjoy. the cleanliness of the bedding was questionable upon our arrival, although it was quickly resolved by the front desk.

Beautiful grounds and views, with a true castle vibe. The leisure facilities were great, including a beautiful spa with hydrotherapy pools. The pool area had mood lighting and a poolside hot tub, sauna, and steam room. The food in the hotel was outstanding, with a formal restaurant offering a 5-course menu and a casual dining area with fabulous options. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, providing excellent service from start to finish.

The swimming pool could get quite busy during swimming lessons, making it difficult to have a relaxing dip at certain times. The changing rooms could also be crowded during these times.

Some guests and even some staff were not consistently adhering to mask-wearing guidelines, which made me feel uneasy. The air conditioning in the room could have been cooler on hot nights.

We had a wonderful stay here surrounded by beautiful scenery. This venue is located close to home, making it perfect for a quick getaway. We enjoyed walking alongside the lake next to the hotel and exploring the castle. The staff provided top-notch service and made us feel welcome. They even gave us a lovely welcome drink upon our arrival. The room was equipped with all the amenities we needed, including good heating and air conditioning, a comfortable bed, as well as coffee and tea making facilities. We appreciated that the rooms were soundproofed and had a sitting area, terrace, and free toiletries.
