The hotel provided a cozy atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We even received a special surprise for our honeymoon. Additionally, the hotel offered falconry which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The location was also convenient, with easy access to pubs and restaurants.

There were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. Despite requesting a room near the elevator for my parents due to their difficulty with walking, we were given a room that required them to walk a longer distance.

We had a fantastic stay at Lyrath. From check-in to breakfast, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the beds were the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The attention to detail throughout the estate was impeccable, and the grounds were simply fabulous. The on-site restaurants exceeded our expectations, and both bars had a great atmosphere. We especially loved the comfortable smoking area in the upstairs bar. Even though we didn't have children with us, we were impressed with how child-friendly the resort was. Lyrath truly exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect getaway for adults.

The location of the hotel is in a beautiful park that transports you to a different era. The gardens are lovely, but the atmosphere can feel a bit souless at times. The changing area for showering is well-equipped, and the rooms are spacious and well-provided. Breakfast is tasty and has an excellent honeycomb.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the beautiful grounds were perfect for a relaxing walk. the location was great, with plenty of attractions and amenities nearby. We also loved the fact that there were two adorable golden retrievers outside the hotel - they were so cute and friendly!

The breakfast buffet style was a bit disappointing as we couldn't order from a menu. We were also disappointed that we couldn't access the residents bar on New Year's Eve due to a private party.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the hotel facilities, especially the spa, were outstanding. The grounds of the estate were absolutely beautiful.

lyrath estate in kilkenny exceeded our expectations once again. the reception and bar area were lovely, and we enjoyed lunch on the terrace. the room was upgraded for our anniversary, and the bathroom was fabulous with a large bath and strong shower.

Breakfast lacked freshly-squeezed orange juice.

My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel for a weekend getaway. The oasis spa was a highlight, offering amazing treatments in a thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. The room and bathroom were great, and the leisure facilities were top-notch. Staff at check-in/out and concierge were welcoming and went out of their way to help us with parking and our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. The ambience created by the fire in the bar and reception area, along with the beautiful artwork and relaxing music, made for a relaxed atmosphere. The staff at The Yew Tree restaurant were incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. a fantastic stay!
