We absolutely loved our romantic escape in this hidden gem. the warm and friendly hosts made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. the cozy room was spotlessly clean and quiet, allowing us to relax and enjoy each other's company. the location, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Shannon River, provided a breathtaking backdrop for our romantic walks. Plus, the delicious breakfast and accommodating hosts made our stay even more memorable.

Although the dining options were limited in the evening, it didn't diminish our overall experience. Next time, we might consider bringing some snacks with us to ensure we have something to munch on if we arrive late.

Geoghegan's Magpie Bar and B&B in Glin is a beautiful place with a rich history and friendly hosts. The pub is cozy and welcoming, and the countryside view is breathtaking. The owners' dog, Joey, adds a lovely touch with his hat, pipe, and glasses. The hosts are helpful and provide a comfortable and quiet room in the cottage across from the pub. They assist in ordering from nearby restaurants and offer a continental breakfast in the backroom of the bar. The location is perfect for exploring the Ring of Kerry.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The positive atmosphere and tidy surroundings made our experience enjoyable. The comfortable beds in our room ensured a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided in the morning was delicious. The staff, especially the owner, were warm and helpful. They assisted us with our trip plans and even allowed us to keep a travel guide. The hotel is located in a lovely village with convenient access to attractions in the area. We also loved being able to relax and enjoy a beer in front of the pub.

Staying at Magpie felt like staying with family. the Geoghegan family warmly welcomed us, shared the history of the pub, and even invited us for a pint. the accommodations were cozy and had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten-free needs for breakfast. the genuine Irish hospitality made this one of our favorite stays on the Wild Atlantic Way. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to experience genuine Irish hospitality.
