The location of this hostel couldn't have been better. We were able to stumble into a few pubs right next door after a long day of sightseeing. It's also conveniently located super close to the main square, but far enough that there wasn't any noise at night. Adjacent to a grocery store, it was easy to grab snacks.

The hostel was lacking in terms of cleanliness. The showers were dirty and the water didn't drain properly.

Conveniently situated lodging with friendly, accommodating, and secure staff. Fridge and kitchen offer ample storage. Quaint common areas and comfy rooms promote relaxation. Valued inexpensive towel rental and breakfast. Energy crisis affects the temperature, but it was manageable.

This hotel is definitely worth the money you pay. The location is in the center of town, making it super easy to get around. The staff is friendly, and the basic amenities are present, such as cozy chairs for a chat and a shared bathroom with 10 beds. They also serve breakfast, which is delicious, and even has homemade bakery.

On the positive side, the hostel's location close to Galway's Eyre square makes it convenient for exploring the city center. the common areas provide a lively atmosphere, with people chatting and laughing, creating a vibrant social environment.

The lack of secure storage for personal belongings is a major downside.

Our room was cozy and had everything we needed. The location was great for exploring the city and we found a nearby car park. We were pleasantly surprised by the hot showers with good water pressure. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hostel.

The Woodquay Hostel is a budget-friendly accommodation in the heart of the city center. The location is unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from the bustling streets and attractions. For those on a tight budget, this hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. The rooms, though basic with bunk beds, are clean and well-maintained. What stood out for me was the attention to detail - from the fully equipped kitchen to the availability of washing machines for guests. The complimentary breakfast was a treat, with a variety of options including homemade pastries.

No issues to report, everything was satisfactory.

We also liked the location which was close to bars and restaurants. It was great to wake up and have breakfast while enjoying the view of the city from the balcony.

Our romantic escape wasn't as expected. the room was poorly maintained, the bed was uncomfortable and the linens were stained.
