I recently stayed at a charming guest house in the countryside with a group of friends who were all attending a wedding in the surrounding area. The location was perfect, nestled in a quaint village. The room was bright and clean, with comfortable beds and a decent bathroom. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. The house itself had a rich history and was filled with interesting decorations. It was a lovely experience overall.

The hot water took a while to come through in the morning, which was a bit frustrating.

This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a small friendly village. The attention to detail is impressive, with rooms that have two outside walls and three big windows, allowing for plenty of natural light and a lovely view. It's clear that the hotel is well maintained, with rooms in perfect condition. The staff provide excellent service and are always willing to help. The homemade brown bread served at breakfast is a delightful touch.

All in all, this hotel exceeded my expectations.

A Warm Welcome and Authentic Charm

During my weekend stay at Tynte House, I was greeted with genuine warmth by the delightful hosts. The Georgian building exudes character, offering a refreshing change from generic accommodations. Located in Dunlavin, it's perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. The breakfast, featuring delicious local produce, was a highlight. I highly recommend this charming and authentic retreat.

Michelle's exemplary service, accommodating owner John, spotless rooms, beautiful bed linen, comfortable beds, excellent en-suite condition.

We had a wonderful stay at the Tynte House Bed & Breakfast in Dun Luain. the room we stayed in was located opposite "the Peach," and we received a very warm welcome from Emegyn. John, the owner, was extremely friendly and interesting, managing everything himself from cooking to making up the rooms. the location of the B&B was perfect for hiking and exploring the beautiful country. We enjoyed a delicious Irish breakfast prepared by John, who even made it earlier than usual for us. the breakfast provided us with the energy we needed for our hike up Lugnaquilla mountain. we felt very welcome and had a great experience.

Our new year getaway had its good moments. We had once complimentary drink each at the bar on our arrival, and we also got a bottle of champagne in our room as a new year's gift. the location was perfect for us to explore the surroundings, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. the room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and a lovely view from the window.

The Wi-Fi connection was also quite slow and spotty, making it difficult to do any work or stream entertainment. the breakfast options were limited and not very appetizing, so we ended up eating out for most meals.

Friendly staff, homely room, clean. Excellent breakfast. Convenient location for weddings at Rathsallagh Country House. Ask for the interesting story.

I had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff were amazing - so friendly and went out of their way to help me, even giving me a lift to a nearby venue. The breakfast was excellent, providing me with all the energy I needed for a day of climbing in the nearby mountains. The hotel facilities were great, with a wonderful breakfast area and good WiFi. The location was perfect, right in the center of the village, with a supermarket, pharmacy, pubs. Parking was never a problem, as there was always a space available right in front of the hotel.

I had a wonderful weekend in a charming and tastefully decorated house with a warm homely atmosphere. The owner was very helpful, suggesting activities like golfing at the nearby Rathsallagh course. The prices were reasonable for a B&B and the breakfast was excellent. The location was great, with a friendly small town and everyone being welcoming. The staff at the hospital were also wonderful when my husband fell ill.

The shower room had some maintenance issues with the door handle and light not working properly.

The host was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by giving us a free lift to the wedding venue and picking us up at the end of the night. The owner was a fantastic baker and his homemade brown bread was mind-blowing! Our room was spacious, parking was plentiful, and the breakfast, especially the vegetarian Irish fry-up, was super delicious! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and cosy and clean rooms with all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious and served in generous portions. Close proximity to Rathsallagh Country House and an interesting story about the history of the house if you ask the host.

Felt like a home away from home, and the staff were always eager to assist, making us feel like nothing was too much trouble.
