The staff, although language barriers sometimes posed a challenge, were always willing to assist me. The rooms were basic, but clean and had everything I needed. The location was a bit far out, but the easily accessible bus stop made getting around convenient. The breakfast, while not extensive, provided enough options to start the day. I had a pleasant stay at Villa Monte Mario and would recommend it.

the price and location were exceptional, just a stone's throw away from the Vatican. Plus, there's a convenient bus stop right next to the building, making it easy to get around. the sisters and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. While some of the sisters didn't speak English, having some Italian translations on hand was a helpful way to communicate. the room itself was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views of Rome and St Peter's from Monte Mario. the public transportation connections to the Vatican were excellent, with a reasonable 3 EUR return bus ticket. the reception staff, although not well-informed about the Pope's audience, were always ready to assist. it was a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations.

The staff, while limited in English, is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast may not be what North Americans are used to, but it is delicious and satisfying.
