I recently stayed at Villa Scalabrini in Como for a short holiday. The friendly and hospitable host made me feel welcome right away. The shared bathroom, which was only shared with one other room, was spacious and clean, with a large shower and hairdryer. I appreciated having a kettle in my room and access to the fully equipped communal kitchen. The location, although not by the lake, was convenient with a bus stop nearby and easy access to Lake Como in about 10 minutes. the hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

Can recommend this hotel.

Villa Scalabrini had a lovely garden, decent kitchen, and a TV with plenty of DVDs. The bathroom was cleaned daily. Very charming.

It smelled a bit musky when you walked in. The shower ceiling needed a good scrub.

The room was spacious and had a balcony. The bathroom was also large and had a bathtub and shower basin. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The owner was very friendly. The hotel is conveniently located close to bus stops and a train station. It is also not far from the city center. We enjoyed a nice walk to an old castle in the countryside nearby.

We stayed at Guest House Scalabrini for a few days and it was wonderful. The house felt cozy and homely, with a well-equipped kitchen and a beautiful terrace that enjoyed plenty of sunshine. The room, especially the elegant bathroom, was stunning. The host, Federico, was incredibly kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in very late at night. We would definitely return to this fantastic place without a doubt.

We had a fantastic stay at a charming villa. the location was perfect for us, with convenient access to the local train that offered direct service to Como, Milan, and Switzerland. the owner was very helpful and communicated well with us before our arrival. Despite the language barrier, we had no issues thanks to Google Translate. the kitchen facilities were great, and we appreciated the thoughtful basics provided. the bathroom facilities were excellent, with an amazing shower that always had hot water. the garden was a peaceful and tranquil spot that we enjoyed each evening. the local bus and train services were frequent and reasonably priced, making it easy to explore the area.

Nothing to dislike. 😊
