I recently stayed at Bernina for two nights and had a great experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Milano Centrale Station and metro lines, making it ideal for inter-railers. The day and night receptionists were incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms were clean, with a private bathroom, great AC, and comfy beds. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was good.

We stayed during New Year's and enjoyed the complimentary champagne and snacks provided by the hotel. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station and convenient to many attractions. the breakfast had plenty of options and the coffee was delicious.

The hotel decor was a bit outdated and could use some updating. the room was smaller than expected and the bathroom could use some maintenance, as the showerhead was leaking.

We also felt safe walking around the area, especially as a solo woman. There were plenty of nearby restaurants, and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. the room had double glazed windows, which was perfect for blocking out the noise from the nearby construction.

Lovely courtyard to work or relax, breakfast room turns into a cozy spot, warm hospitality, stop for City Sightseeing in front of the hotel, short walk to Via Torriani.

Receptionist only gave me the key and wifi password, didn't even tell me where the lift is. Lift is slow and small.
