We had a stressful holiday, and Hotel San Marco in Lucca was our last night's refuge. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, showing genuine care for their guests. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of fresh and quality food. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom and amenities replenished daily. The little garden and swimming pool were great additions, and we enjoyed renting bikes to explore the area. In short, a wonderful hotel with a convenient location, attentive staff, and great amenities.

This hotel in Lucca is a hidden gem just outside the city walls. It offers great value for money, with reasonable prices and attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable, with a lovely big bathroom, and are kept immaculately clean. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service and tourist information. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the old town and close to the city walls. The breakfast is delicious, with a variety of fresh food for all tastes, and includes an excellent cappuccino.

Our stay at San Marco was more than we could have ever wished for. Every single member of staff was exceptional, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel room was clean and tidy, with fresh towels provided daily. The location was perfect for exploring, with just a short walk to the wall entrance. The hotel also had a lovely outdoor swimming pool and sitting/eating area, and the breakfast was delicious. our stay was truly memorable.

The front desk staff at Hotel San Marco were incredibly friendly and helpful during our stay. They gave us a tour of the facilities and made us feel welcome right away. The villa apartments were spacious and had a lovely balcony, perfect for enjoying the view. The pool area was beautiful and provided a great place to relax. The location was convenient, close to everything we needed. We also enjoyed the food service delivery and the bar with its fresh brewed beer. The bikes available for rent were a hit, allowing us to explore Lucca in a fun and efficient way.

Although there were a couple of minor drawbacks, such as the limited parking space and the slightly outdated bathroom, these did not detract from our overall experience. The breakfast could be a bit chaotic, and the air conditioning in the room was not very adjustable, but these were minor inconveniences.

We got great value for our money at Hotel San Marco in Lucca. The room was bright, comfortable, and very clean. The location was perfect, just a short walk outside the city walls, and the staff treated us exceptionally well throughout our stay.

The morning meal could have been improved with a better selection of bread.

We had a fantastic visit to Lucca and Hotel San Marco was the perfect choice for our stay. The warm and informative greeting upon arrival set the tone for our stay. The added bonus of bicycle hire made exploring the city so convenient. The staff, especially Ina, were exceptional. The room was beautifully clean and modern, and the hotel's location was excellent. The free parking right outside the hotel was a great convenience. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends visiting in September.

We loved the location of this hotel, as it was just a short walk to the beautiful old town of Lucca. The hotel had a great location, just a short walk from the main street in the city. the staff were friendly and helpful, and they even had free bikes for guests to use. Riding around the city wall was a highlight of our trip. Additionally, the bathroom in our room was a nice size and well-designed.

The air-conditioning in the room was not powerful enough, especially on hot days. It took a long time for the room to cool down and by midday, it had heated up again.

Fantastic staff, multilingual, comfy rooms, well-equipped, enjoyable amenities.

Absolutely loved the spacious balcony in the annex with afternoon sun and comfy chairs. The garden and outside facilities were a bonus. The air-conditioned room was comfortable and the bathroom had an excellent shower. The staff were extremely helpful, providing great advice on places to visit and dine. I highly recommend this hotel.
