Our stay at Hotel Virgilio was superb. The location was perfect, right next to the cathedral and a fantastic gelateria. The staff, especially David, were friendly and helpful, providing us with a map and brochures. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was generous and satisfying. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Orvieto.

We stayed at Hotel Virgilio for 4 days and absolutely loved it. The close proximity to the Duomo made exploring the city so convenient. The staff were welcoming and helpful, giving us great restaurant recommendations and arranging transportation for us. The views of the Duomo from our room were breathtaking, and the soundproof windows ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast selection was delicious, and we enjoyed having drinks at the front of the hotel reserved only for guests. The location and lobby were both beautiful.

The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with everything you need for a great stay. The breakfast is generous and delicious, offering a great start to the day. The view from the rooms is breathtaking, overlooking the main square and cathedral.

Nothing could have been better.

our recent stay in orvieto was made even better by the outstanding location of the hotel overlooking the square. the friendly staff and nice bar added to the pleasant atmosphere. the rooms were clean and spacious, and we loved being able to request a room with a view of the square.

Breakfast was just okay, with poor coffee and a crowded breakfast room.

The central location was perfect for exploring Orvieto and being close to the impressive Cathedral. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast room was pretty. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby.
