Superb location in the old town. My room had a lovely walkout to the roof deck. Breakfast was consistently great, and the complimentary happy hour with Prosecco was a nice touch. The staff provided exceptional recommendations and made reservations for us. We had a delightful stay! 🍾

Such a beautiful and clean spot with a lovely refreshment station available all day. The charming staff were super helpful with local tips, and the use of bikes made for a delightful ride around the walls. I wouldn’t mind living there!

The bed felt like it was auditioning for the role of a rock in a quarry! A little more pressure on my back and I’d have been begging for a massage!

During our stay at Hotel Ilaria, it felt like we were living in a delightful fairy tale. The minute we stepped in, the warm welcome from the front desk staff was like a cozy hug from an old friend! Our standard queen room, though compact, had a charming character with a lovely view from our window that transported us back in time. Breakfast was nothing short of a buffet wonderland, featuring a spread that could make even a pickiest eater swoon – fresh pastries, local cheeses, and eggs cooked to perfection. I could almost hear the croissants whispering, 'Eat me! ' as I piled my plate high. Oh, and did I mention the complimentary bubbly during happy hour? Because who doesn’t love a little fizz to toast their adventures? Overall, we felt like royalty nestled in the heart of Lucca as we explored its stunning streets filled with history and vibrant life.

Fantastic location right within the charming walls! We had a delightful happy hour in the lobby toasting to our adventures and enjoyed renting a pedal-powered tuk-tuk for a quirky tour around scenic spots.

The air conditioning felt like it was having a lazy day, leaving us a tad sweaty. Next time, we’ll bring our own fan—or consider a cold shower instead!

Amazing staff were always so friendly and helpful! The snack bar with free refreshments was a delightful surprise. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy, especially enjoyed the options outside under the big tree.
