I had a great time staying in this hotel. the location was fantastic. It was right in the center, close to the Old Port area, and within walking distance to the ocean. Secondly, the staff were really friendly and provided excellent service. They were always there to assist me with any queries I had. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, with large bathrooms. I was lucky to have a room on level 4 with a sea view, which was absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast offered in the hotel had good refill in all places and provided fantastic views of the city.

Not one thing

I had a wonderful stay at a great base in Alghero. The hotel's location in the old town was perfect, with so much to explore just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the daily cleaning service was a nice touch. The receptionists were friendly and provided helpful advice for getting around and finding quieter beaches. The roof terrace was a highlight, offering stunning views of the sunset. Plus, having a supermarket across the street was convenient. I recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good air conditioning.

Located in a charming area near the historic center, Hotel La Margherita offers a convenient base for exploring the cobbled streets and promenade. The rooms are simple yet clean, with functional TVs and friendly staff. The rooftop terrace, although in need of some maintenance, provides amazing views of the town and sea. The breakfast buffet offers a good selection of items, making it a pleasant start to the day.

The rooftop terrace could use some improvements, as the plastic chairs and tables were dirty, and many of the flowers were dead.

The room was nice and clean, with a spacious terrace. The staff was great and helpful, offering assistance whenever needed. The hotel's location was perfect, being close to the city center, shops, restaurants, and the beautiful seafront.

The breakfast was satisfying, and the staff were accommodating and friendly. the hotel’s location was superb, with easy access to nearby markets and local facilities. it was conveniently located near the airport, saving us time on our commute.

The hotel was noticeably outdated and poorly maintained. the hotel’s overall appearance gave us the impression of it being very old, and we felt that it could benefit from some renovations.

Looking for a relaxing break close to the historical center and with a view of the sea? This hotel is a great option. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The breakfast offers a variety of options to start your day right. The location is perfect, right in the center of the old town and by the port.

The carpet in the rooms was very old and dirty, which was a disappointment.

la margherita & spa was the perfect hotel for my visit to alghero. clean rooms, stunning rooftop terrace, and a charming old-world feel. highly recommended!
