Oh, just a tiny inconvenience - the lack of signs made it a fun challenge to find the hotel. Can't say I enjoyed driving aimlessly in Taormina.

I recently stayed at "La Pensione Svizzera" for a week-long vacation. The hotel's location is perfect, right next to the Gondola entrance for Isola Bella beach and just a short walk to the city center. The views from the breakfast area are stunning, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The outdoor terrace is a lovely spot to relax, and the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. a great place to stay in Taormina.

I had a wonderful stay at "La Pensione Svizzera" for 3 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to the best parts of town and right next to the chair lift that takes you down to the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our room was ready early. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with a lovely garden area to relax in. The breakfast served was delicious, especially the cappuccinos. Highly recommend this hidden gem of a hotel!

There were a lot of stairs in the hotel and no lift, which might be difficult for some guests. the hotel lacked luxury compared to other options.

Lastly, the breakfast was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from, including pastries, salamis, cheeses. I particularly enjoyed dining in the beautiful garden, taking in the spectacular view.

Stayed at La Pensione Svizzera in Taormina and had a fantastic experience! the staff was wonderfully accommodating and the view from our room overlooking the sea was breathtaking. the location was exceptional, just a block away from the bustling Main Street of Taormina and the cable car to the beach. the facilities were lovely, with comfortable lounging areas both indoors and on the patio. the staff spoke good English and went above and beyond to assist us with restaurant reservations, taxi bookings, and even making sure we had breakfast before our early departure. Plus, there was a resident kitty to keep us company. Our room had everything we needed and we couldn't have asked for a better location.
