For the price we paid, we got great value and a fantastic room. The location was perfect, close to the Rialto Bridge and other attractions. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been better, with a wider variety of options available.

The hotel is located in a fantastic area, right next to the fish market vaporetto stop and just a short distance from the Rialto Bridge. It is almost in the center of the city, making it extremely convenient for exploring Venice.

Everything was just fine, no complaints at all.

The location of the hotel was easy to follow when lugging our suitcases from the cruise ship to the ferry. We took the porter's help to transport our cases over a rather steep bridge to the ferry number 1 opposite the railway station, which took us to the Mercato stop. From there, we headed towards the right side of the fish market after crossing a small bridge. The hotel's not-so-glamorous entrance down a narrow alleyway led us straight to the tourist spots.

The bathroom had a window with no blinds, and it looked straight into the neighbor's home.

Great Location, Unexpectedly Enjoyable

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The hotel is clean and the staff was helpful. The location is fantastic, close to the Rialto Bridge and easy to access. We did have a slight issue finding the entrance down a narrow alley, but once inside, everything was fine. The room was clean and comfortable, although it was missing a mirror. The breakfast was basic but sufficient. The only downside was the early morning noise from the nearby fish market, which woke us up each day. Despite this, we would still recommend this hotel for its great value and location.

Quaint hotel near premier Venice destinations. Good central location. Nice staff. Fluent English-speaking breakfast lady. On-site restaurant. Convenient to water bus.

The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in assisting with any requests we had. the location was ideal, as we were within walking distance of key landmarks and attractions.

The noise level was our least favorite aspect, as the walls were thin and we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. we were awakened occasionally by loud noises from the nearby waterway.

Close to attractions, clean room, daily cleaning, toothbrush/toothpaste provided, temperature control.

our second stay in venice was even better than the first. locanda poste vecie exceeded our expectations with its convenient location, peaceful atmosphere, and delicious breakfast. we felt safe, comfortable, and truly enjoyed our time here.

The cheerful and helpful host provided advice on local issues. Large, clean room with plenty of power outlets and a spacious toilet. Quiet location near Rialto Bridge and St. Marks. Easy check-in and check-out process with luggage storage available. Conveniently located near vaporetto stop.
