During our romantic escape, we loved the cozy and well-decorated rooms at the hotel. the attention to detail was superb, from the beautiful furnishings to the spotless cleanliness. the hotel's location in the heart of Tuscany was perfect for exploring the surrounding rolling fields and countryside. We also enjoyed the hotel's lovely gardens, which provided a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere.

We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel due to poor directions, which made our arrival a bit stressful. Additionally, as the hotel is in a UNESCO heritage area, there were no signposts with the hotel's name on the road, making it even more challenging to locate.

They had a fire built and served a delicious porcini mushroom soup on a cold and rainy day. the breakfast buffet was a delight, with homemade pastries, local salamis, and fresh-squeezed blood orange juice. the location of the hotel was also great, with Bagno Vignoni just a short walk away.

One downside of this hotel was that it lacked a relaxing atmosphere at times. the pool was occupied by a cleaning robot and the gardener was constantly working, making it difficult to enjoy some peace and quiet.

The hotel had a good breakfast, the room was clean with nice smelling amenities and it had a great view. It was close to some really good restaurants and bars that we enjoyed visiting. the staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for information about the area.

There were a few problems during our stay over New Year's. the heating didn't work very well, so it was cold in the room.
