We had an enchanting stay at an elegant villa surrounded by stunning gardens in the peaceful countryside near Lucca. The grand public rooms were both impressive and comfortable, with high ceilings and cozy fireplaces. The staff warmly welcomed us and took the time to show us the different room options, each with their own unique style. Once we settled in, we enjoyed leisurely walks through the beautiful gardens and admired the inviting pool and terraces. Our evening meal in the formal restaurant was exceptional, one of the best we had during our trip to Italy. We could only imagine how delightful it would be to dine on the terrace during the summer months. The breakfast was also top-notch, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We appreciated the easy parking and the convenient location, close enough to Lucca but away from the bustling crowds. English TV news was a rare find in this area, a nice bonus. Although the Wi-Fi was chargeable, we felt that a hotel of this caliber should offer complimentary Wi-Fi like most other places these days. our stay was incredibly pleasant and relaxing, and we look forward to returning in the future.

The hotel is clean and has great facilities. There is plenty of parking and the location is convenient, just a few minutes' drive from the city. The green spaces are beautifully landscaped with mature trees providing a lovely canopy. The staff are friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Stayed here for Easter weekend. The rooms were lovely, with beautiful Italian fabric covering the walls. The tiled bathrooms were huge and immaculate. The public rooms were grand and filled with art. The hotel staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The pool area was also great, although we couldn't use it due to mosquito season. The location was convenient, just a short cab ride away from the city and airport.

There were a few downsides. The hotel was located on a busy road, so there were no real views.

I got great value for my money at Villa La Principessa. The room was comfortable and the location was perfect, close to Lucca but away from the noisy beach crowd. The staff treated me like royalty, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

The room itself was spacious and well-appointed, with modern amenities such as air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV. The dining options were also exceptional, with a restaurant serving delicious meals and a snack bar for lighter fare. my experience at this place was nothing short of luxurious and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly enjoyable stay.

One of the drawbacks of staying at this villa was the expensive taxi fares to get to the property. However, I knew that by choosing to stay outside of the main city, I would have the opportunity to experience a more semi-rural feel and enjoy the beautiful gardens that the villa had to offer.
