I recently had the pleasure of staying at a legendary hotel in Florence that truly lived up to its reputation. From the moment I arrived, the welcoming ambiance whisked away all my travel stress. The magnificent views, beautiful gardens, and serene atmosphere of this Belmond hotel created the epitome of Tuscan calm. The impeccable service at every level made me feel truly pampered and taken care of.

The hotel had a beautiful setting surrounded by a forest filled with songbirds. the elegant rooms and lovely dining room were a highlight. the service was excellent and the views from the hotel were fabulous.

The transfer from the train station to the hotel was overpriced, as taxis in Florence are cheaper. the panoramic swimming pool was closed during the visit, which was disappointing.

Everything was perfect! the staff was friendly and always ready to assist. the food was excellent and the service was top-notch. We were even upgraded to a suite, which was a wonderful surprise. the view from our room was breathtaking and the hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the city through their shuttle service. We also enjoyed the pool area and the al fresco dining. a delightful experience!

The hotel could benefit from some renovations. the WiFi was not very reliable and the bathrooms were just average.
