The check-in staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were comfortable with beautiful river views. The top-floor restaurant has an amazing view of the city, making it a great spot for drinks. The breakfast, while not huge, was tasty. The hotel's ambiance was friendly and pleasant, and the rooftop bar offers the best views in the city. I would definitely return to this hotel when next in Italy.

We stayed at The Westin Excelsior for a delightful New Years weekend. The staff, especially David at check-in, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room had a fabulous view of the Arno, Ponte Vecchio, and many bridges. The rooftop bar/restaurant offered the best view in town, and we enjoyed entertaining guests there. The hotel's location was excellent, just a short walk from the city center and all the major attractions. The comfortable bed and lovely ambiance made it a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing.

Tendency to pass requests to other departments instead of taking responsibility. Some issues with smoking on non-smoking floors and feathered pillows not being removed despite multiple requests.

We had an incredible time at The Westin on our honeymoon! The spacious, clean rooms were perfect for us, and being able to relax in a quiet environment after a day of exploring Florence made our trip so much more enjoyable. The staff were wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to find celebratory Champagne and Christmas treats waiting for us in our room. The hotel also had stunning river views, especially from the top floor restaurant, which made for a perfect spot to enjoy a drink at night. The breakfast, while not extensive, was still tasty. we highly recommend this special property to our friends and hope to return in the near future.

During our romantic escape, we loved the stunning views of the river from our room, creating a beautiful ambiance. Plus, the central location made it easy for us to explore the city and visit all the top attractions on foot. the staff were extremely fluent and provided excellent service, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

We were disappointed that complimentary bottles of water were not provided in the room. It would have been much more convenient to have water readily available without having to call down or go out to buy it.
