I had an amazing stay at a traditional ryokan with beautiful tatami rooms and futons. The open-air onsen next to the waterfall was a truly relaxing experience. The kaiseki-style meals served in-room were delicious and authentically Japanese. The staff was friendly and helpful, even with limited English. The Amagiso is located in a serene valley with stunning waterfalls to explore. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and authentic Japanese experience.

Great secluded hotel with amazing views of waterfalls. Indoor and outdoor pools available, as well as hot springs. Helpful and English-speaking staff. Close to a beautiful bridge and hiking trails. Enjoyed the traditional Japanese meals.
