Had a great time with friends! The private onsen was a highlight, and we enjoyed the stunning views of Mt. Fuji. We explored beautiful gardens and loved the complimentary kimono rental. Don’t miss the kaiseki dinner—it was an incredible feast! Also, keep in mind that the private train from Otsuki needs a separate ticket.

However, the layout of the shower and outdoor bath was a bit awkward, making it hard to feel completely comfortable while cleaning up. It might be worth taking that into account if you're traveling with friends.

The Mizuho Western Room with Open Air Bath had a stunning view of Mt. Fuji that was quite breathtaking. The private open-air bath was a nice addition, giving a perfect spot to relax and soak while taking in the scenery.

The electrical setup across the three rooms was noticeably flawed, with lights either failing to switch on or experiencing delays. it was a headache navigating the scattered light switches. Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, cutting out for the last day and a half of the stay. Noise from the ceiling air conditioner was intrusive at night, and the building's layout was complicated, making it tough to find your way around. There were also cleanliness concerns, with cockroaches spotted near the public onsen. Dining was hit or miss. breakfast was decent, but dinner portions and quality varied significantly and only the beef dish on the last night stood out. Access was tricky too, especially for those relying on the JR Pass as a separate ticket was needed for the private train.

The views of Mt. Fuji from our private onsen were simply breathtaking! The 8-course kaiseki dinner was a delicious surprise, and we loved every bite. However, we had a minor hiccup with dusty bedding, which was surprising given the otherwise clean surroundings. Also, navigating the hotel layout was a bit tricky but manageable with the staff's help.

We had an amazing 2 nights here! The private onsen in our room was incredible, soaking while looking at Mt. Fuji. Plus, the kaiseki dinner was like nothing I ever tasted, 9 courses of surprise! After the meal, we enjoyed the traditional taiko drums, it brought a lively vibe to the evening.

It wasn't cheap but totally okay for the kind of experience you get.
