The relaxing barbeque grills provided a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes. the nearby landmarks like the Village and Hangetsu Lake were perfect for family outings, enhancing our bond. the uphill location and unreliable wifi were minor inconveniences. Grandpapa in Hirafu offers a cozy stay with excellent staff and convenient amenities.

The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, offering lots of knowledge about the area. The communal dining made it easy to meet other travelers and share information. The location was great, with good restaurants and bars nearby and a regular bus to the gondola. The lodge had a cozy atmosphere, with comfortable beds and a great view of Mt. Yotei. The shuttle service to the lift and gear storage were convenient amenities.

This ski lodge offers a cozy atmosphere that is perfect for a ski holiday. the breakfasts are filling and delicious, providing a great start for the day ahead. It's located within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and bars in the area, and the bus stop for the gondola is just a short walk away. the lounge area is perfect for relaxing and meeting other guests.

The duvet is a bit too small for taller guests, and the beds are not as comfortable as I would have liked. the walls are quite thin, making it easy to hear your neighbors at times.

we enjoy staying at Grandpapa. the staff are friendly, offering a delicious breakfast for ¥300. They provide a shuttle service and helpful ski storage. the location is convenient with beautiful views of Mt Yotei. the cozy atmosphere feels like a big family house. Exceptional value and service from Kohei and his team.

There was nothing I didnt like 🙂

The friendly staff spoke good English. Convenient location near free shuttle and onsen. Clean and spacious room. Enjoyable hot breakfast. Convenient pick-up and dropoff service. Excellent snow gear rental recommendation.
