We had a great value for our money at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the location next to the beautiful Lake Ashinoko was perfect. The staff treated us with exceptional kindness and helpfulness throughout our stay.

Breakfast delights, but could use a bit more variety.

This hotel is located up in the hillside, at the last bus stop and in a very small village where there is nothing to do. It may seem inconvenient, but it offers a peaceful and unique experience. The rooms, located on the second floor, have a nice view and come with different choices of food for breakfast, which is included in the price.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, even arranging for a personal belonging to be sent to our next accommodation. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection of Japanese food and had a lovely view of the lake. The hotel was conveniently located close to the pier for the boat trip, the Hakone Ropeway, and the activities at Lake Ashinoko.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient as it was close to the pirate boat stop, making it easy for us to explore the area by boat. The hotel was also located near the cable car and had beautiful surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast provided a good spread of options for our family, including some Western food choices. the cleanliness of the hotel and its facilities were excellent.

Poor communication and lack of English skills. We had difficulty communicating with the staff, as most of them had very limited or no English.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Hakone and was pleasantly surprised by its value for money. The prices were very reasonable for what you get in return. Additionally, the staff paid great attention to detail and provided excellent service. The location of the hotel was convenient, allowing easy access to popular attractions such as Lake Ashi and the Ropeway station. The hotel itself was beautiful, especially if you arrive by car.
