I had a great stay! The rooms were always fresh and the bed was very comfortable. The hostel had a small kitchen facility and fridge for guests to use, and they even provided free coffee and tea in the lobby. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and their English speaking skills were excellent. The hostel also had a terrace for chilling out and a Japanese style room for reading or using the internet. I also liked that I could rent a bike for a really convenient price to explore the area.

The location of the hostel is really good, just a short walk away from the main train station. There are also shopping malls, good restaurants, and local food options nearby. Convenience stores are easily accessible as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing essential facilities like microwaves, fridges, and heaters. Each floor has its own wifi, ensuring a reliable internet connection. There is also a room where guests can watch Netflix or use laptops.

The floors of the hostel were sticky, which made late-night trips to the bathroom unpleasant if slippers were not available.

nakamura really exceeded my expectations during my stay in kobe. the friendly staff and convenient location near the train station and harborland made exploring the city a breeze. the ryokan interior design and helpful resources in the lobby added to the charm and convenience of the hostel.

I had a fantastic stay at Hostel Nakamura. The location was perfect, close to the train station for easy access to explore Kobe. The hostel had a great vibe, with a cozy atmosphere and beautiful artwork on the walls. I loved spending time on the rooftop, relaxing in the provided hammock and enjoying the view. The hostel provided rental towels and extra blankets for free, which was convenient. I highly recommend this hostel for its great location and friendly atmosphere.

I stayed here for three nights during Japan's spring break. Surprisingly, it was not crowded, and I only encountered a few people throughout my stay. The common areas, including the rooftop and 1st floor lounge, were always empty. The guests in my dorm were respectful and quiet, allowing me to sleep soundly. Exploring the first floor was a delight, as I stumbled upon hidden gems and cozy hideouts. The hotel's vibes were great, with incense scent, lo-fi music, and beautiful local art on the walls. a fantastic stay!

showers need improvement

my recent stay in kobe was great, but Nakamura hostel exceeded all expectations! the unique wood capsule bed provided much-needed privacy, and the staff's great english skills made communication a breeze. the free coffee, tea, and kitchen facilities were a bonus.

Cool art and murals inside. DIY atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff, speak English well. Peaceful and quiet rooftop. Each bed has a lockbox, electrical outlet, and chain for luggage. Clean showers with inner opaque curtains and outer doors. Convenient location, less than 10 minutes to Kobe Station

Felt safe walking at night, no complaints

the staff was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of style. the dorms and bed areas were spacious and had lockers for storage. the rooftop terrace and ground floor chill-out spaces were amazing for relaxing. the kitchen was well-equipped, and they even provided a free breakfast of toast, margarine, and jam. the location was convenient, close to Kobe station and with a konbini and supermarket nearby. the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and I would definitely stay there again.
