We had a fantastic stay in a centrally located hotel that was close to everything we needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had a great view of the city and was cozy and stylish. The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the town and visiting the Christmas markets. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea and the entertainment provided by the band.

Some of the rooms in the hotel were outdated and not very clean.

We had a great stay at this centrally located hotel. The Cronies restaurant served delicious food, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. We appreciated the tea/coffee facilities and toiletries provided. Despite some minor inconveniences, we would recommend this hotel overall.

I recently stayed at the Golden Lion in Stirling for a short historic sight-seeing trip. The location was perfect, surrounded by cafes and shops. The hotel bar and breakfast were great, and my room was cozy and clean. The warm bathroom with a heated towel rack was a nice touch, and I appreciated the extra blankets in the wardrobe. The staff, especially Sirri and Klara, were fantastic. I had a fantastic stay and will definitely be going back!

I stayed in a cozy hotel that was located in a great spot for exploring the city. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian area, and was just a short walk from the rail link. The tiled bathroom was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was extensive, with plenty of choices in the self-service dining room.

Some guests were extremely rude to the wait staff in the restaurant, which put a damper on the experience.

This hotel is a rare find, located right in the center of town with parking available just down the hill from the imposing castle. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating, and the beds are comfortable which is all you need when visiting a city. Additionally, the pricing is very reasonable.

I recently stayed at the Golden Lion and had a wonderful time. My stay was for a short break away, and I was delighted with the hotel's great location near the train and bus station. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, making it convenient for dining out. The hotel's bar was also very comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely en-suite that had both a bath and shower. I would definitely return and recommend the Golden Lion for a pleasant stay.

Spent a lovely Easter weekend at a hotel in Stirling. One of the best aspects of my stay was the welcoming and friendly staff, who provided excellent service throughout my visit. the location was fantastic with stunning views of the beautiful city. the room itself was clean and comfortable, with two complimentary bottles of water and a hot drink making facilities. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet, which had a variety of dishes to choose from.

the soundproofing of the room was not great, and I could hear noises from outside from time to time. the bathroom was not properly cleaned, with hair found in the sink and shower.
