i was utterly disappointed by my stay. the staff seemed stumped by basic requests, and there were no luggage delivery services as promised, which was conveeeenient. the room was far from cozy, not to mention the musty smell. you’d think for a 4-star hotel, they’d throw in a complimentary upgrade or at least some cupcakes for my birthday, but alas.

Superb location, superb access to transportation, with modern amenities available such as a 24-hour reception and impeccable cleanliness ensuring a restful stay after a day of exploration.

All was wonderful

the room was cramped and the walk from the lobby to my room felt like an absolute trek, not ideal for an esteemed guest like myself. breakfast? bland and hardly worth the price. i almost gave a good review, but the lack of welcome treats for a discerning traveler like me? unforgivable.

this hotel was absolutely not what i expected. i was beyond disappointed by the lack of a welcome gift or any sign of special treatment. They really should’ve had more storage space. the little closet was almost a joke. just couldn’t recommend it!

For ease, ask for a room close to the elevator to avoid long walks down the hallways, particularly if you're carrying heavy luggage.

The location is spot on, right at Kyoto Station, making it easy for us to explore the city. We even had a delightful day trip to Yasaka Shrine, just a short bus ride away. The staff was incredibly welcoming and the sound-proofing was a nice surprise!

My wife says that having a more kid-friendly breakfast option would be great.

the keycard system took a moment to figure out, but the room had super cool windows looking out at the station tracks, super clean, and lots of tasty food options everywhere, great spot for train travelers!

the location above the transport hub is ideal. made travel easy and gave us access to shops and dining. the separate toilet and shower areas were perfect for our family. staff offered helpful tips for our day-trips.

I had an interesting time navigating through the station to find the hotel, it felt like a bit of an adventure which was cool. The breakfast was pretty solid with options that fit both western and Japanese tastes, I tried the local specialties and felt like I was really experiencing the culture.

It wasn't exactly a bargain but worth it for the location and comfort.

The location is super convenient, right next to Kyoto Station! We dropped our bags in the lockers and hit the town, which made things a breeze. The breakfast was varied, with tasty options from both East and West, but it could've had more local flair.

I had a great time with my friends staying here! The location is super convenient right next to the station, making it easy to explore places like Yasaka Shrine and Arashiyama. The room was clean and the breakfast was decent. We even locked our bags in the station lockers while we wandered. I definitely recommend it for a group trip!

The location is unbeatable. right inside Kyoto Station, next to the Shinkansen ticket gate! So convenient for grabbing food and shopping. breakfast was Asian-style with a great variety. Clean rooms and comfy beds!
