the room at this hotel was spotlessly clean and quiet, providing everything I needed for a good rest. the staff was incredibly hospitable, and Kuu Kyoto's receptionists were especially helpful throughout my stay. the hotel also offered a delicious breakfast featuring Japanese and European cuisine. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I return to the city.

The location of this hotel is fabulous, as it is very close to the train station and right opposite a beautiful temple. It is also in the city center, making it easy to explore this city. The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the public bath, which has a sauna and a cold bath too. The breakfast options are abundant, and the chef can even make you a personalized omelette. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to assist with late checkout, providing travel directions, and even offering an international adapter.

As a solo traveler, I absolutely loved the convenience of the washer and dryer on the premises. It saved me the hassle of finding a laundromat in the city.

During my Christmas trip, I found the hotel to be in a great area close to many attractions. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and they provided me with warm slippers which was appreciated considering the cold weather. I also enjoyed the free breakfast, which had a decent spread of food.

My room was not up to my expectations. the heating system was not working properly, and the room was very cold.

I got great value for my money at Hotel Kuu. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, despite being a bit small. The location was perfect for sightseeing, being close to Kyoto Station and with a stunning temple across the street. The staff went above and beyond to help, despite the language barrier.

The menu for breakfast could be improved, maybe by offering more variety.

I recently stayed at Hotel Kuu for a short trip and it was the best hotel experience I've had. The staff went above and beyond when I had to visit the hospital for an allergic reaction, arranging a visit and providing an interpreter. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the station, and there are convenient transportation options nearby. The hotel is beautifully designed with a calming Zen-inspired look, and the rooms are extremely clean. The onsen is a wonderful treat, and the added touch of a Japanese snack in the room was delightful.
