Good open-air bath, comfortable bed and easy temperature control in the room. Convenient bus stop for highway bus and helpful staff who took my luggage early. Buses available to go north and nearby post office and convenience store. Simple but complete breakfast buffet with quality food.

This hotel is conveniently located for exploring the northern part of Okinawa. The breakfast selection is impressive and offers both Western and Japanese-style dishes. The roof-top bath is a nice touch and is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The rooms are very outdated and lack charm. The bathroom is quite small and not very comfortable.

A Pleasant Surprise

While our expectations were not high based on previous reviews, our stay at Route-Inn Nago turned out to be quite enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent Japanese-Western style. The highlight was definitely the breakfast, with a wide variety of delicious Japanese and western dishes to choose from. We also appreciated the free coffee and complimentary green tea in the rooms. The staff, though limited in English, tried their best to assist us and even helped us book a free brewery tour. Although the hotel is located a bit off the beaten path, it was easily accessible with a car. I would recommend this hotel for a budget-friendly stay in Nago.
