During our recent 5, night stay for sightseeing, Shikisai's well, managed and clean rooms impressed us. the spacious Japanese, themed room featured a separate dining area and a convenient washer/dryer in the huge bathroom. the lovely staff provided excellent insights, offering a neighborhood feel amidst local cafes and eateries. Perfect for unwinding after exploring Kyoto, this boutique gem truly exceeded our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The location was convenient, with nearby public transport and a variety of restaurants and cafes. the room was quiet, allowing us to get a good night's sleep.

While our room was spacious, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The TV did not work properly and the heater/ventilation were a bit loud and annoying.

Great value for the money with beautiful and spacious rooms. Excellent location and staff were friendly and helpful at Shikisai.
