We loved the location of the hotel, conveniently located right off a busy street and close to metro stations. The staff was friendly and provided great service. Our room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast options, especially the Japanese breakfast, and appreciated the free coffee and water available all day. The lounge was a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

That the rooms were a bit on the small side, but with everything else being so great, it wasn't a big issue for us.

The rooms with tatami mats were quite small, especially with multiple people and suitcases. there were some instances where the receptionists gave incorrect information, which caused confusion.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and spoke good English. The hotel was very clean and in a great location, very close to Shijo station and within 10 minutes walk from the subway. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of 4 different plates of food. The hotel facilities were modern and minimalist, and there was a nice lounge/bar area on the ground floor.

I loved this hotel! The location is amazing, very near to the subway at Shijo and just a couple of metro stations away from the central station. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the rooms were nice and clean with everything you need. I also appreciated the easy-to-use bunk beds that had a 3rd bed above them, which was perfect for us. The vegan breakfast was a real highlight, with plenty of options to choose from, just like in the review I read before.

I stayed in room 209, a terrace room above the reception/bar/dining area. The location was ideal, with the Shijo metro station and subway and bus stops around, providing easy access to the city's attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, with a well-designed layout. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast options were sufficient. I particularly enjoyed the bar with its excellent beer pouring skills and occasional crafting sessions.

That the comforter in the room was quite thick and warm, making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep.

During our romantic escape, we loved the complimentary coffee/tea/water station in the common area. The staff was very supportive and accommodating, making our stay more comfortable. The hotel's location near a city-bike spot was great for us to explore the nearby areas.

There was no western-style breakfast available, only Japanese style. The lack of a curtain in one of the rooms we stayed in caused morning sun to be an issue.

We loved our stay at I'm Hotel. The staff were super helpful, giving great advice on transport and restaurants. The hotel had a lovely community feel and a modern atmosphere. The lounge/bar was pretty and comfy, perfect for relaxing. The best part was the free mobile phone with internet access, which came in handy both inside and outside the hotel. The hotel also had a washing machine and dryer available for a small fee of only 400¥.
