Traveling for leisure, my stay at this hotel in Kyoto was excellent. The spacious room with a couch and ample suitcase storage was a pleasant surprise. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the subway and a short walk to the main shopping and tourist area. The staff was professional and spoke English, making communication a breeze. There's even a Starbucks connected to the hotel, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.

I recently stayed at the Karasuma Hotel in Kyoto for a few nights. The location of the hotel was fantastic, with two entrances to Shijo Station and a 2-minute walk to Karasuma Station. The room size was generous compared to what I expected in Japan, with a couch and plenty of room to open my suitcase. The staff were very professional and spoke English. The hotel is conveniently located near Family Mart and downtown Kyoto, with easy access to the Shijo and Karasuma lines for exploring the city. I had a great experience at this hotel.

The WiFi was only available in the lobby, which was a bit inconvenient for us as we would have preferred to have internet access in our room. Additionally, the bathroom was a bit disappointing, as it seemed outdated and in need of renovation.

The staff was excellent and the breakfast provided a great variety of options. The room was spacious and much larger than the typical rooms in Tokyo. If you're looking for dining options, there is a basement department store with a great selection, just a short walk away. This was my second stay at this hotel and I will definitely be looking to book here again on my next trip.
