The Kirishima Kanko Hotel is an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway. Located amidst beautiful scenery, the hotel offers a peaceful environment. The Japanese-style rooms are comfortable and spacious, providing a true cultural experience. The onsen facilities are exceptional, with a variety of hot baths to choose from. Guests can unwind after a long day and enjoy the soothing waters. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. the hotel offers a delicious breakfast with a wide variety of options.

One minor downside is that some parts of the hotel may be in need of updating.

Spent xmas at this hotel and enjoyed the beautiful scenery around it. The peaceful location near many hot springs and hills was a key highlight. The hot spring pool in the hotel was open early and until past 11 pm, which was a nice option after a long day. The extensive Japanese breakfast was definitely good in quality, but there were few non-Japanese options available.

The hotel was very dated, and the English-speaking staff was limited, which made communication difficult. The winding road to the hotel was quite dangerous, especially at night or in bad weather, and parking was limited.
