The value for money at this place was really great! The room was clean and cozy, with a super comfy bed. The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything we needed. The staff, especially Gillian, were friendly and welcoming.

The morning meal could be improved with better quality curtains that block out the daylight.

I had a fantastic stay at a lovely guest house. From the moment I arrived, the owner, Gillian, gave me a warm welcome and made me feel right at home. The single occupancy room I stayed in was perfect - cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. I had a great night's sleep on the comfy bed. The highlight of my stay was the delicious full English breakfast, especially the sausages which were sourced from a local supplier. Another bonus was the convenient messaging service that allowed me to stay in touch and made dealing with my delayed train much easier. I also appreciated the reliable local transport, allowing me to explore the beautiful scenery without having to rely on my car.

The single occupancy room I stayed in was cozy and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The full English breakfast, particularly the locally sourced sausages, was absolutely delicious. The hotel's proximity to reliable local transportation allowed for easy exploration of the scenic route to Whitby. a clean and welcoming hotel with excellent service and a great location.
